Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor can it be before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have to be provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have to be followed.

All submissions have to be online through our database where the corresponding author should add all authors names, affiliations and emails.

Submission

Authors will need to provide the following:

1-Cover letter: In "COMMENTS FOR THE EDITOR", you should summarize why your paper is important to the scientific literature, highliting its originalty and novelty, ensuring that your work has not been submitted or published elsewhere.

 2-Manuscript

Please refer to the information for authors for the type of manuscript to be submitted. The journal can only accept manuscripts written in either US English or British English, but not a mixture.

Your manuscript must be in Microsoft Word format (as .doc or .docx). Word files must not be protected.

Manuscripts should follow one of the two ordered sections below:

Title: (font 16, centred, bold, no capital): Must accurately reflect the contents of the manuscript.

Author names (10, centred, bold) and affiliations (10, centred) indicated with an Arabic numeral superscript immediately after the full name (first

name followed by last name) of the author. The corresponding author is distinguished by an asterisk.

The rest of the manuscript must be written in (10, justified).

Abstract: No more than 300 words explaining to the general reader the major contributions of the article. No citations should be included.

Keywords: At least three keywords are listed and separated by semicolon.

Introduction: Provide background from literature necessary to allow readers outside the field to understand the purpose and significance of the study. You

may point out worthy disagreements in the field addressed. Conclude with a brief note on the actual state of art and comment your achieved aims if so.

Materials and Methods: Provide enough detail to allow skilled investigators to fully replicate your study.

Results and Discussion: Clear and concise, these sections describe and interpret the results of the experiments performed, summarize and discuss your

findings. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

Conclusion: The conclusion drawn should provide closure for the paper with the  significance and the importance of the concepts fully explained.

Acknowledgments :For authors who would like to acknowledge their supports.

References and Citations:

Vancouver Style

References in the text are cited by Arabic number and placed between square brackets in blue before the punctuation.

At end of the paper, references cited in the text are listed and numbered in ascendent order as they appear in the manuscript. Refer to the following links for the format to use.

 Figure and Tables

Tables and Figures are placed embedded in the text without interrupting its flow. Table or Figure must be in TIFF or EPS, sufficiently clear in color. Minimum resolution of 600 dpi is required at 4 x 6 inches.

Figures and Tables are numbered ascendingly upon first appearance and independently, in the text, starting with (Fig.1) and (Table 1). They must be well-labeled, and described by their legend. Table legends go above the body of the Table while, Figure legends go below the graph.

Tables should be created with the function inserting tables in a Word document. Indicate each footnote in a table with a superscript lowercase letter.

For figures taken from other sources, it is the responsibility of the author to obtain permission from the original author. In this case, provide the Editor with a copy of the written permission.

Abbreviations. Abbreviations should be accessible to a broad scientific audience; abbreviations that are specific to a particular field should be mentioned

first in the text. Journals name abbreviations should be those found in the NCBI databases.

Use the metric system, SI units (Système international d’unités) to express your measures: g, mg, mL, L, M, mp, bp, °C, K, GC, HPLC, IR, NMR, MS,

HRMS, UV, mol, mmol,

Nomenclature and Style.  All chemical, biochemical, and molecular biology nomenclature should follow IUBMB recommendation

(http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iubmb/). Database for gene or protein sequence or others should be referenced according to EMBL; GenBank, or the Protein Data Bank.

All compounds should be mentioned by correct chemical name. The use of the IUPAC nomenclature conventions is preferred

Characterization of compounds

Complete characterization data must be given for all new compounds. For known compounds appropriate literature references must be given.

Supplementary instructions

Graphical abstract

A graphical abstract, submitted in a separate file is required for this journal. It must provide the reader with a summary visual description of the subject

under investigation covered in the article. Graphical abstract should not exceed 14 cm in width.

Drawings, graphs, and illustrations

Should be submitted in electronic format. Chemical structures and reaction schemes should be drawn with software easily available: ISIS/Draw or CS

ChemDraw. All files must be saved in TIFF or EPS format.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
