In this work, we report the synthesis and antileishmanial evaluation of 13 amodiaquine (AQ) derivatives (4-aminoquinoline-aryl and 4-quinolinylhydrazones series). The compounds were tested against four Leishmania species and murine macrophages. The appreciable activity of these compounds can be considered an important finding for the rational design of new leads for antileishmania compoundsReferences
